Hana Jo studies three key topics through Buddhist texts: (1) pre-modern and contemporary lay Buddhism, (2) Buddhist philosophy on meditation and practice, and (3) the application of Buddhist thought to Contemporary life. The Buddhist texts that interest her include Pali, Sanskrit, and Classical Chinese texts, as well as vernacular texts from Thailand.
